  • Funeral Coordinators – To coordinate all aspects of funeral receptions.
  • Funeral Receptions & Vigils – Set-up, provide food, clean-up and serve.
  • Bereavement/Grief Support – Group support sessions, led by Helen Beausoleil. For one on one sessions, please contact the parish office.
  • Homebound, Care Center & Hospital Ministers – Provide daily and weekly visits as well as the Eucharist for those unable to attend mass.
  • Bibs for Baptisms – Presented at infant baptisms.
  • Fidget Quilts – Made for Alzheimer patients. If you are interested in this ministry, or are in need of a Fidget Quilt, call the parish office.
  • Blood Pressure Screening – Doctors, Nurses, EMT’s and others qualified to take blood pressures are need. This service is offered every other month. If interested in this ministry, call the parish office.
  • Prayer Line – A confidential network of people to pray for particular intentions. Please contact Lori, Dawn, or Kavida at the parish office, if you would like to put someone on the Prayer Line, or if you would like to join our Prayer Line.
  • Care Center Mass Assistants – Help with set-up and readings at various centers.
  • Special Events – Parish Picnic, Ministry Fair, Event receptions, Giving Tree, Basket Auction, Thanksgiving Food baskets, and Stuff the Bus, Blessing of Animals.
  • Family Promise – Help during host week, by provident food, set-up, clean-up, laundry and overnight hosts. Coordinator – Catherine Ortwein

    St. Mary Catholic Community is seeking a qualified Director of Pastoral Care to support the operations of Saint Mary Catholic Community. This position reports to the Pastor and serves the parish by overseeing and coordinating ministries that provide spiritual, emotional, and physical care to individuals and families. Rooted in Catholic teachings and the mission of the Church, the Director ensures that all programs reflect compassion, mercy and the dignity of every person.

    Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience in Theology, Pastoral Ministry, Social Work, Nursing or a related field. Strong organizational and communications skills are essential.

    This is a part-time salaried position, working 32 hours per week, with benefits. Annual salary range is $36,500 to $39,500, depending on experience.
